Product Features:
Aquapharm is a manufacturer of Methylene Bis Thiocyanate (MBT) which is a non-metallic organo sulfur biocide. It possesses excellent fungicidal, algaecidal, and bactericidal properties. It can be formulated for convenient use as a solution in many organic solvents or as an aqueous dispersion. It is a crystalline solid thus avoiding dusting. It is stable across wide range of pH and shows a very rapid kill against microbial species.
MBT can increase oil production by reducing oil layer contamination and preventing clay form expanding and disinfecting. MBT can also be used to protect packing paper from moulding, cooling water, and removes marine organisms from marine liners.
MBT has good effects of anti-corrosion germicide and algaecide for electrical materials, bamboo and wooden ware, coatings, rubber, canvas, glue and ink.
MBT 1% emulsion is a broad-spectrum and safe agricultural germicide, with good effects against diseases of rice and wheat.
Applications:

- Aquapharm MBT has excellent penetration properties which make it suitable for preservation of wood and leather.
- It is recommended for leather processing at pre-tanning stage where high levels of bacterial and fungal contaminants are present.
- It is also used for prevention of mould and sapstain for stored timber before converting them into finished goods.
- It is used in the preservation of paints, adhesives, synthetic polymer lattices and latex emulsions
- Anti-microbial treatment of water thinned product, thickeners and slurries.
- Oil well brines and drilling muds.

Health & Wellness
Donated Laminar Flow Machine and air conditioning facility to Jankalyan Blood Bank at Mahad which the only blood bank between Panvel and Ratnagiri. This machine has enabled them to maintain a hygienic atmosphere thus avoiding blood transfusion cases.
Regular Blood donations Drives are organised by the Foundation to address the blood shortage problem during difficult times. More than 50 employees participate in this drive every year.
